There's a new trading algorithm today that takes into account the size of your order relative to the stocks float not just the order size as in previous versions. Subsequently, if you were to put an order in for 100k shares, which at the moment is 30% of a stocks float, that order will affect the price much more than if you entered an order for 100 shares.
