I'm working on some ideas for the site and was thinking about allowing people to show user profiles and if they want, the ability to show their portfolio. Let me know what you think.

If you do this i think that each of the users should have the choice of showing thier portfoli because if i hold alot of one stock and people want to topple me for some reason the could sell off thier stock as a group to make me lose big time. So it should be our choice to show our portfolio but user profiles are a good idea.

I was thinking about giving too much visibility as well for that same reason collgan. Right now I'm thinking maybe show by index how many shares someone holds and/or by sector. Another option maybe just show if you are holding a position or not, no hard numbers.

i agree no # just positions held.
though at the same time people will realize if there are only a couple of positions in an accout they are probably large.
